The New Zealand National Team have competed 3 times previously at the Santos Tour Down Under, Their best result came with Grace Anderson who came 9th overall in 2018 and won the Young Riders Classification. Bryony Botha finished 4th at the New Zealand National Road Race in 2022. Ally Wollaston won the Grand Prix du Morbihan Féminin in 2022 and topped the points classification at the Lotto Belgium Tour.
