THINK! Road Safety Family Day

Come and practice riding in a safe environment learning about road rules and cycling safety, then walk or ride into the city to watch the pros do their thing in the prologue.

The SAPOL Road Safety Centre features a mock roadway where children can be educated on the road rules, pedestrian and cycle safety. The mock roadway helps children to become familiar with:

• Correct road signage
• Pedestrian safety
• Road rules

The mock roadway includes:

• An intersection with traffic lights
• Pedestrian crossings
• A roundabout
• Traffic signs

Bring your own bike or borrow one of ours. There will be kids merchandise giveaways as well as appearances by Jeff the Road Safety Dog.

From the city catch the free tram towards the entertainment centre and hop off at Thebarton tram stop, or simply walk or ride along North Terrace or the Torrens bike path.
